MCO : Renewal of the SIMMAD IT system

SQLI won the realisation of the IT system for aeronautical MCO’s delegated project owner

Objectives: improve operational performances

The Comp@s system will coordinate all activities related to Maintaining in Operational Condition (MCO) for the whole of the Defence Ministry's aircraft fleet in order to improve both operational performance and cost/availability ratios. This system covers four main areas:

  • Administrative and financial management (purchasing, finance…)
  • Logistic (supplies, spare parts management…)
  • Technical management (maintaining flight readiness, managing configurations…)
  • Performance management (decisional aids, reporting…)

Our assistance: sectorial expertise, process modelling and SOA

Groupe SQLI used its proven knowledge of MCO activities and its issues, gained by capitalising on large scale projects such as the SIGLE project for the French Marine Nationale, mainly for:

  • the i-Process approach
  • managing the new system
  • modelling 80 trade processes
  • coordinating the service oriented architecture (SOA)
  • and creating a single access gateway for all system users
