MultiTouch box "Révolution" - Sqli agency « Révolution »: an extract of innovation highly approved by final users

SQLI confirms his leading position on future user interfaces with this interactive touch box « Révolution »: an innovating mix of uses and technologies combining creativity, ergonomics and simplicity. Displayed since January 4, 2010 in Paris, « Gare de Lyon », the interactive touch box « Révolution » has been approved by all users: customers and SNCF sellers.

« Révolution »: A new way to buy train tickets
In september 2009, SNCF has launched a contest named “Dream the future SNCF sell box”, in partnership with 01Net et Microsoft. The target was to invent a new way to sell train tickets in SNCF retail outlets.
SQLI has gathered an expert team to imagine a completely new concept and has realized in a real short time the “Révolution” project. The ticket delivering box, with an innovative interface, inventive and ergonomic, offers tactile disks series which enables to define the ticket references, capable of being modified at any moment. Its design is functional ergonomic and intuitive.
Tested at the rail station «Gare de Lyon » in Paris by travelers and SNCF sellers, the « Révolution » box was approved by all. It has recently been designated as the winner of the SNCF Multitouch Contest, during an event that took place today in the future “SNCF Voyages” business offices at the CNIT - Paris la Défense. SQLI Agency has been rewarded twice, gaining also a “Microsoft Surface” Table, which will complete its ubimedia equipment.

According to Stéphane Donic, Advice and Innovation Manager for Sqli Agency, “This prize crowns an exciting collective adventure, confirming our commitment in the ubimedia field. The great involvement of conception, creation and development teams, their feelings for new interfaces, has been vital to realize this project. For us, who share the aspiration to imagine services that make day to day life easier, it is the victory of creative simplicity.”
The « Révolution » box is also a real technological innovation: It has been created with Adobe AIR2.0, which allow new interaction experiences.

Isabelle Gauthier, SQLI Agency Manager adds: « The success of our project, that introduces a real different interface, shows that we can jostle reflexes and offer original solutions, out of the beaten paths. To mix new uses, creativity, technological innovation and simplicity require a very accurate blend.
