The SQLI industry sector covers several market segments and each of them faces specific challenges:

The Automotive sector is currently experiencing a difficult period even if recovery signs have been seen. Optimising vehicle development costs, innovating to provide more interactive services in the vehicle and the ability to create customer loyalty are the major challenges for our main automotive clients.
The Aeronautic and Electronics segments have to deal with daily changes in the Euro / Dollar exchange rates and its financial consequences on their results, the increasing investment required to create new products resulting in industrial partnerships using 'virtual joint design', without forgetting logistical support, after sales service or the MRO, depending on which segment we are talking about. These are all important business challenges because they have considerable impact on margins when the procedures are optimal and correctly tooled.
The Pharmaceutical segment (production and distribution) has to continuously adapt to regulatory constraints to obtain a marketing authorisation and must mutualise their research centres with other players to minimise their development costs.
The Process segment (Construction / Engineering / Property) must, during the current property crisis, optimise its costs throughout the value chain whilst maintaining quality and using environmentally friendly construction methods.
The challenges for the Hi-Tech and Telecommunications segment (operators, hardware providers...) are mainly related to time-to-market and innovative ability combined with the requirement for network infrastructures to be constantly available. Companies in these segments have to make large investments to optimise their supply chain at a global level and resist attacks from low-cost producers.
