SQLI adapted Yamaha Motor France's IT system

SQLI adapted Yamaha Motor France's IT system so it can interconnect with the new French vehicle registration IT system (SIV).

A general assistance in a highly constraining context.

SQLI's assistance involved helping Yamaha to realise a project where the context was constrained by a short time scale imposed by the Government and by the number of partners involved: The French Ministère de l’intérieur and sub-contractors, motor vehicle manufacturers and importers.

The service covered a large scope from studying the specifications for the new system provided by the Ministère de l’Intérieur through to realising the interfaces and writing the recommendations for the service oriented architectures (SOA).

Results: compliance with the schedule, SQLI's proposed changes have been retained by the Ministère de l’Intérieur
The work produced by SQLI allowed Yamaha to meet the imposed deadlines. Furthermore, some of the changes to the new system proposed by SQLI have been considered relevant and retained by the Ministère de l’Intérieur.
